Before Klopp’s bombshell announcement, Liverpool were second favourites to win the 2023-24 Premier League title. Now, Betano still has the Reds holding firm as second favourites at 3.25 odds to clinch the title.
Liverpool won the first match after Klopp’s announcement at Anfield, trouncing Norwich 5-2 to progress to the fifth round of the FA Cup.
The Premier League leaders followed that up with a 4-1 demolition of Chelsea, but their title hopes were checked in a 3-1 loss to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
That defeat saw the Gunners close the gap with the Merseysiders to two points. After losing back-to-back games in the Premier League, Arsenal have won three on the bounce and are now third favourites at 8.0 odds to win the title for the first time in 20 years.
Champions Manchester City are level on points with Arsenal. However, Pep Guardiola’s side, who have a game in hand, are still the big favourites to win the league for a record fourth consecutive season at 1.57 odds.
City faced a tricky spell before the turn of the year with draws against Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham and then suffered defeat at Aston Villa. They did return to winning ways, beating Luton, before dropping two points to Crystal Palace at home in stoppage time.
After becoming world champions, it’s six wins from six for the Champions, including a dramatic 3-2 victory over Newcastle and a Phil Foden-inspired 3-1 win over Brentford, putting them back on track.

Manchester United began the season with a glimmer of hope for the title, priced at 11 odds. However, their inconsistent performance has seen their odds plummet to 500, reflecting a 13-point gap to leaders Liverpool. While closing such a gap isn’t unheard of, their current form suggests the wait for the title might extend beyond this season.
Meanwhile, fourth-placed Aston Villa are at 75 odds to become champions, while Tottenham Hotspur, who occupy fifth place, are also priced at 75 odds to win the Premier League title for the first time in their history.

West Ham, positioned at seventh, carry a 3500 odds, while Chelsea, despite heavy transfer investments of over £1bn, have dropped out of the top ten. Their odds of lifting the trophy have gone from 14 odds at the start of the season to 2500 odds.
Overall, the 2023/24 Premier League title race appears to be a three-horse race, with Klopp’s impending departure appearing not to have affected the betting odds.
