However, clubs will have more rest periods between games during the Christmas and New Year match rounds, with no club playing within 60 hours of another match.
Additionally, there will be no games on Christmas Eve, but the traditional Boxing Day full round of fixtures remains, ensuring the festive season will be celebrated with a full dish of Premier League action.

Premier League 2024/2025 Season Start and End Dates
- Start Date: The Premier League 2024/25 season will begin on Friday, August 16, 2024, with Manchester United taking on Fulham at Old Trafford in the season opener.
- End Date: The final round of fixtures will be played on Sunday, May 25, 2025, with all 10 matches kicking off simultaneously.
