Europa League Betting: Latest Winner Odds, Fixtures & Dates

The 2023-24 Europa League quarter-finals are set, and the top sports betting sites have updated their odds for the outright winner.

Liverpool are the odds-on favourite with the best betting sites to win the tournament in Jurgen Klopp’s last season at Anfield. But they’ll need to overcome Atalanta in the quarter-finals first. And if they make it to the final, they could potentially face Bayer Leverkusen, managed by Liverpool legend Xabi Alonso.

Alonso is the bookmakers’ favourite to replace Klopp at Anfield, which adds an exciting twist to the possibility of a Liverpool versus Bayer Leverkusen final. Nevertheless, there are still other teams in the last eight – AC Milan, AS Roma, West Ham, Marseille, and Benfica, all of whom are still in the running for the title.

As we look forward to the latter stages of the tournament and the possibility of a fairytale final, here’s a breakdown of the latest betting odds for the Europa League winner.

Road to the Quarter-Finals

Liverpool crushed Sparta Prague 11-2 on aggregate in the round of 16 to progress to the quarter-finals. The Reds will face Atalanta in the last eight. Atalanta, who are yet to lose in the Europa League this season, squeezed past Sporting Lisbon 3-2 on aggregate.

Bayer Leverkusen, the only unbeaten team in Europe’s top five leagues, survived a scare against Qarabag to make the quarter-finals. The Germans were twice close to losing but made a comeback from 2-0 down in second-half stoppage time in both legs to eventually win the tie 5-4 on aggregate.

The reward for their resilience is a tie with West Ham in the quarter-finals. The Hammers defeated another German side Freiburg 5-1 on aggregate, coming back from a 1-0 loss in the first leg with a 5-0 win at London Stadium.

The Europa League quarter-finals also feature an all-Serie A tie. AC Milan dispatched Slavia Prague 7-3 on aggregate and will be looking to continue their run against last season’s finalists, AS Roma, who progressed courtesy of a 4-1 aggregate win over Brighton.

Rounding out the quarter-finals are Benfica and Marseille. Benfica secured their place after defeating Rangers, while Marseille edged past Villarreal thanks to a strong 4-0 first-leg win, holding off a comeback attempt in the return leg.

Who Will Win the 2023-23 Europa League?

Liverpool are overwhelming favourites at 2.00 odds with betting sites to win the 2023-24 Europa League.

Interestingly, the Reds reached the final in the 2015-16 season, Klopp’s first at Anfield. Then, they lost to Sevilla, but now, in his last season with the Reds, bookmakers believe they can go one further.

Leverkusen are next on the outright betting at 4.33 odds to win the Europa League. Alonso’s men are unbeaten in all competitions this season, winning 32 and drawing five. As we stated earlier, they could set up a dream final with Liverpool after being placed in the other half of the draw to the Reds.

Milan dropped into the Europa League from the Champions League and are priced at 7.00 odds on 22bet to go all the way. Standing in their way in the last eight are fellow Italians, AS Roma.

Roma fell short in last season’s final, losing on penalties to Sevilla. They will be looking to go one better this season. However, Jose Mourinho has since been sacked, with club legend Daniele De Rossi turning things around since taking over the reins. You can find Roma at 13.00 odds to return to the final and, this time, lift the trophy.

West Ham won the Europa League Conference last season and are priced at 13.00 odds in the outright betting market to add this season’s Europa League crown to their trophy room. They face an uphill task against Leverkusen in the last eight.

Benfica are at 15.00 odds to win the crown; they come up against Marseille, priced at 17.00 odds to win the 2023-24 Europa League.

Atalanta are also at 17.00 odds to win the trophy and face a rampaging Liverpool side in the last eight. The Italian side last reached the semi-finals in 1988. Their odds to go all the way this season suggest a repeat looks unlikely.
